What remote start really does

Remote start lets you fire the engine without being in the car. From a key fob in range, or from an app anywhere with signal.

The big use here is pre-cooling. In Lagos heat, in the Abuja dry season, the inside of a parked car becomes brutal by midday. Remote start runs the air conditioning a few minutes before you arrive so you never sit in that wall of heat again.
