What it is

A break-in works because glass gives way fast. This slows it right down.

Anti-shatter film is a thick, clear layer we bond to the inside of your windows. When someone strikes the glass, it cracks but the film keeps the pieces locked in place, so the window holds instead of dropping into your lap.

A smash-and-grab at a Lagos junction is over in seconds. The whole plan depends on one hit opening the glass and a hand reaching in before the light changes. When the pane webs and stays put, that hand meets a wall, the plan falls apart, and the driver ahead of them moves off. That gap is the point of the film.

Three things set our film apart from the shade tint on most cars.

It holds, it does not tear

The film is built to keep cracked glass bonded to it. A blow that would empty the window leaves a webbed pane still sitting in the frame.

It buys you seconds

Every extra hit a thief needs is time you use to drive on or draw eyes to the car. Most give up long before the window opens.

It works while you drive

Clear or tinted, the film cuts UV and knocks back the heat, so the same layer that guards the glass keeps the cabin cooler on a long run.

How it works

From WhatsApp message to a fitted car the same week.

Tell us the car

Send the make, model and your city on WhatsApp. We tell you clear or tinted, which windows, and the price. No showroom visit.

We come to you

A fitter meets you at home, the office or your yard. The glass is cleaned down and the film is laid with no dust trapped under it.

The film goes on clean

We bond it edge to edge so it sits flush with no lifting corners. Most cars are finished in under 60 minutes.

It cures and it holds

You drive off straight away. The film settles fully over a few days and then quietly does its job every time you park.

What's included

Everything in an anti-shatter fitting.

One visit, and glass that fights back the first time anyone tries it.

Thick security film

A tough layer that keeps a cracked pane bonded together, not the thin tint sold for shade.

Come-to-you fitting

The car stays where it is. We bring the tools and the clean space to your place.

Clear or tinted grade

Keep the glass looking untouched, or pick a tinted film for privacy and heat cut in the same pass.

UV and heat cut

The film blocks most of the sun's UV and takes the edge off the cabin heat on a long drive.

Edge-to-edge finish

Laid flush with no bubbles and no lifting corners, so it looks like it left the factory that way.

2-year workmanship warranty

If the film peels, bubbles or lifts at the edge, we come back and put it right.

Why not the cheap film

Roadside shade tint vs a fitted Otrac security film.

The roadside shade tint
Otrac, fitted
A thin film for shade that tears the instant the glass breaks.
A thick security layer that holds the cracked pane in place.
One clean blow and the whole window drops into the car.
Takes hit after hit before it opens, if it opens at all.
Laid in a dusty shed with bubbles and lifting corners.
Fitted clean at your place, flush and edge to edge.
Fades and peels within a season under the Nigerian sun.
Quality film built to hold up to the heat, so it lasts beyond one season.
No paperwork, no warranty, no one to call when it lifts.
A 2-year workmanship warranty and one team on WhatsApp.

Both go on your windows. Only one of them is still there the day someone tests it.

Why Otrac

We treat glass the way we treat a tracker. Fit it once, fit it right.

Otrac has worked on Nigerian vehicles since 2017. We know the junctions where smash-and-grab happens, and we know that a job laid in a hurry lifts at the first corner. Our fitters take the time to clean the glass and bond the film flush, so it holds when it counts and looks right every day in between.

Film is one part of what we do. The same team fits your tint, wires your dashcam and hides your tracker, so the whole car is looked after by people who answer one number.

FAQ

Anti-shatter film, answered.

Does the film make my glass bulletproof?
No. Bulletproof glass is a different product at a different price. What this film does is hold the pane in one piece when someone hits it, so a smash that should open your window in one blow now takes several, and you get the seconds that matter.
Can I have it clear, or does it darken the glass?
Both work. Clear film leaves your view exactly as it is now. If you want privacy and heat cut at the same time, we lay a tinted grade instead, and it still holds the glass together.
How is it different from ordinary window tint?
Ordinary tint is a thin film for shade and privacy, and it tears the moment glass breaks. Security film is a much thicker, tougher layer bonded to the pane so the pieces stay stuck to it instead of scattering into the car.
How long does the fitting take?
A fitter comes to your house, office or yard, and most cars are done in under 60 minutes. You drive off with the film curing, and it settles fully over the next few days.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes. The fitting carries a 2-year workmanship warranty, so if the film lifts, bubbles or peels at the edge, we come back and sort it at no charge.
