INFECTION, PREVENTION AND CONTROL (IPC) IN A HEALTHCARE SETTING FOR SUSPECTED CASES OF COVID-19
Administering the right Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols of suspected cases of Covid-19 at healthcare facilities is very critical in controlling the spread of infection. This is the first WHO recommended edition of guidance on infection prevention and control (IPC) strategies for use when COVID-19 is suspected.
This guidance is intended for health care workers (HCWs), health care managers, and IPC teams at the facility level but it is also relevant for national and district/provincial levels. Full guidelines are available from WHO.
